The Nyoum Pyramids, located in the 6th of October City in Egypt, are a unique and lesser-known set of pyramids that are not as famous as the Giza Pyramids. The Nyoum Pyramids are a compound of small pyramids that were built during the 13th Dynasty of Egypt, around 1800 BC.

The Nyoum Pyramids were discovered in the 1960s by a team of archaeologists led by Ahmed Fakhry. The compound consists of 13 pyramids, with the largest one being around 20 meters high. The pyramids are made of mud bricks and limestone, and they were built for the pharaohs of the 13th Dynasty.

The Nyoum Pyramids were built in a unique style that is different from the traditional pyramid design. The pyramids have a rectangular base, with sloping sides that meet at a flat top. This design is known as the "mastaba" style, which was commonly used for tombs during the Old Kingdom period.

The Nyoum Pyramids were built as tombs for the pharaohs and their families. Each pyramid had a burial chamber, where the pharaoh's body was placed along with their treasures
